Registration OPEN for Spring 2026 for our Premier Divisions

CSYBA Premier League (formally Chicagoland Sunday League) will begin on Sunday, April 12th. Regular season play will run through Sunday, June 28th. League Playoffs will take place between July 6th - July 12th.

We will have a league-wide Memorial Day Tournament May 23rd - May 25th. - (3-Game Guarantee)

The league is a 10-game guarantee, with options to play 12, 14, 16, 18, or 20 games, based on team needs. By default, games are scheduled for Sundays, but teams that want to play more than 10 games and/or are available and desire games during the week or on Saturdays, will be able to custom build your schedule to your team's needs.

The cost to play in 2026 will be $225 a team for the season. There will be a cost of $400 a team to participate in the Memorial Day Tournament.

Pending enrollment numbers, we will have separate competitive divisions for some age groups. (AA, A, and B).

AA - Established Teams with previous successful seasons

A - Teams with previous seasons of near/under .500, or more advanced New Teams

B - House Level teams or Newly Formed Teams. Introduction to competitive baseball.

Fall Ball 2025

August 1st is the soft deadline to sign up for the Fall Season. The Fall Ball seasons begins on August 16th for teams that are ready. Teams/Communities that need to start later in the month or after Labor Day, we can accommodate. We will run through October 5th, followed by a playoff that will run through the remainder of the month.

We will have recreational leagues for 6u Hummingbird - 7u Chickadee - 8u Finch - 10u Sparrow - 12u Falcon - 14u Raven - 16u Eagle - 18u Albatross - 19+ Condor.

We will have premier/travel divisions for 8u - 10u - 12u - 14u - 16u. 

We will have Softball available for 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u. Softball will be a mixture of recreational teams and part-time travel teams.

Fall Ball is the transitional season. Teams will play at the age group they will play in during the Spring 2026 season.

Cost to play is $50 per team. [If you do not have a home field and cannot host home games, we can accommodate. Contact me directly to discuss options.]

 

Part-Time Travel Baseball in 2025

The Chicagoland Sunday Baseball League has been around for 20+ years and in 2025, will be partnering with the CSYBA. Beginning in the Spring of 2025, the CSYBA will be offering part-time travel Baseball for ages 7u through 14u.

SPRING BASEBALL 2025

The CSYBA will once again be hosting house league Baseball throughout the 2025 season.

School grades are based on the 2024-2025 School Year. However, for Fall Ball 2025, we transition age groups. Fall Ball age groups are based on the 2025-2026 school year. So INCOMING 5th graders in the Fall will move up to the 5th/6th division and INCOMING 7th graders in Fall will move up to the 7th/8th grade, etc...

Age/School grade is determined by the September 1st age group. Players that started school late, or skipped a grade may still play with their school grade cluster, with commissioner approval only.

For all levels 8th grade and below, all teams are recreational 'house-league' teams. All communities are required to have open registration to participate and any communities with multiple teams must make every effort to balance teams.

For our 9th grade and older divisions, it is a mixture of open-registration and pre-formed teams, as well as travel/club teams. Divisions at these age groups will be broken up by level of play, depending on enrollment.

For each team, there is a $50 cost to participate. For communities with more than 10-teams participating across all of 2024 (Spring, Summer Fall), the league fee is capped at $500 per community. Fees cover the cost of the website, scheduling software, championship and runner-up individual player trophies, t-shirts, team trophies, and misc other expenses.

Reminder for the 2025 season. For all levels up through 8th grade, we have fully moved to the USA Baseball standard for all geographic divisions. All bats must have a USA Baseball Stamp. At the 7th/8th grade Level, BBCOR bats are okay as well. (Bats with USSSA 1.15 BPF certification are NOT ALLOWED)

For the 9th grade and older divisions, all bats must be BBCOR Certified.
